At AquaStasis we conduct innovative, independent research in chemical sensing technology with the goal of producing new commercial products. In addition, we engage strong partners for private label applications of our products and both short and long-term co-development projects.
Research Philosophy
Our scientists take a “bottom-up” approach to sensor technologies, taking the time to understand the basic chemistry of target analytes and the testing environment. We strongly believe that a keen understanding of the fundamental chemistry underlying target environments builds the necessary foundation for development of superior test methods.
A careful review of existing test methods and technologies follows the initial research phase in order to determine where improvements are needed, user requirements, and potential innovative paths to follow.
Our technology commercialization philosophy requires rigorous testing, validation, and calibration of our test methods and devices utilizing laboratory quality standards and reference materials.
Product Design Philosophy
Our technology is embedded within an array of products using a detail oriented, user involved, real-world analysis resulting in high end-user satisfaction. Particular attention is paid to the user interaction, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing and assembly, and product appeal.
We have acquired a rich knowledge base on the steps necessary to take technology from the lab bench to the store shelf. Utilizing both in-house and partner capabilities, AquaStasis can manage the initial technology research, industrial design and engineering, manufacturing scale-up, and supply chain logistics.
